Molly Hickey
Molly (McBride) Hickey lives in Rochester, NY and is a fifth grade teacher. She attended Catholics on Call in the summer of 2009 and is an active member of her parish. Molly enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her husband Ryan and her family.
I met Ryan through a friend and there was an instant attraction. He was handsome, funny, and shared my sense of adventure. As we got to know each other I found in him a true gentleman who deeply respected and cared for me. We grew in like and in love and began to share our lives.
So it’s July and after six months I am still sticking to my New Year’s resolution! An exciting first for me since usually failure strikes by mid-February when my attempts to get the gym everyday or not eat so much junk food start to crumble. This year my goal has been to keep a gratitude journal. The idea was to compile a list of 1000 things that I am grateful for over the course of the year. In a notebook kept by my bedside, I’ve been listing, a few each night.
