Magnificat House of Discernment for Women is a collaborative discernment house for women co-sponsored by 44 different congregations of women religious and the Archdiocese. It is the only full-time home opened in the United States for post-college age women to live in community while discerning a possible call to religious life.

The program revolves around the established daily routine of the residents and includes private prayer time, formation, spiritual direction, shared meals and community living all with the goal of assisting each individual woman discern her vocation. Residents will be expected to contribute to the daily life of the house and visitors, family and friends, would be welcome at all times.

Two local religious women, Sister Cecilia Oluchi Dimaku, a Sister of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from Nigeria, and Sister Theresa Pitruzzello a Sister of St. Joseph, will serve as the mentor/directors of the house. At this time two young women live in community with the two mentors.
