WOMEN'S DISCERNMENT GROUP
Single Catholic Women between the ages of 18 and 45 are invited to join with sisters of several communities in the greater Cincinnati, OH area to learn about religious life.
When: The third Sunday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Where: The session begins after the 5:30 p.m. Mass at St. Monica-St. George parish in the former school building.

WOMEN IN DISCERNMENT
Single Catholic Women between the ages of 18 and 45 are invited to join with sisters of several communities in the Louisville, KY area to learn about religious life.
When: The fourth Sunday of every month from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., except December when we meet on the first Sunday of the month
Where: We meet in the fireplace room in Horrigan Hall at Bellarmine University every month except May, June, July and August when we meet at the Maloney Center.

Sacred Heart International Service Project
Two service sites: San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
Seacred Heart volunteers work with children and teens, live in community, reflect with one another on their experiences, and learn about themselves and the world around them through hands-on workshops.
Dates: July 4-26, 2008
Costs: Roundtrip airfare to service site and $300 program participation fee

COME & SEE WEEKEND
The Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis will be holding a Come & See Weekend in Stevens Point, WI. Women ages 18-40 years are invited to come and experience a weekend of story telling, prayer, history of the congregation, Franciscan spirituality, laughter and relaxation along the Wisconsin River. There is no cost for the weekend retreat, just your travel expense to and from Stevens Point.

Week-long Volunteer Opportunity with Good Shepherds at Kateri Day Camp – New Jersey
The Sisters of the Good Shepherd are sponsoring a live-in, week-long* volunteer program at our Kateri Day Camp serving economically disadvantaged and at-risk youth between the ages of 5 – 13 in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The structure of this volunteer experience will be within a holistic framework integrated with prayer, theological reflection and recreational activities. You will also see that we will be providing information on vocation discernment. This is in the broadest sense – basically tools for good discernment regarding important life decisions.

ATONEMENT FRIARS COME & SEE DISCERNMENT WEEKEND
Plan your future--share your gifts! The weekend offers an opportunity for our guests to enter into conversations with the friars to discuss their vocation journeys. During the weekend we have group discussions about the initial formation program and presentations detailing our understanding of ministry in the Church. The vocation weekend permits interested men to come and see how we live, where we minister, and to pray with us. We limit our guests to 10 men. There is no charge.

CHOOSING YOUR CUP OF LIFE: A Discernment Tea
Join us for a morning “tea” and discover how you can discern your “cup of life” and invite God into your decision-making. Lynne Kornecki, massage therapist, will introduce the mind, body, spirit connection of discernment. Sister Nancy Kennelly, IBVM, pastoral associate and spiritual director, will talk about what discernment is and how we experience it throughout our lives. Julie Stapleton, IBVM, will describe the labyrinth prayer path. Also experience these aids to discernment: quiet prayer in the chapel, journaling, paraffin hand dip, hand massage, flavored tea and coffee. Registration is required. Who: For women ages 20-45 who want to know more about discerning God’s call in their lives.

FALL DISCERNMENT WEEKEND
Women, ages 18-42, who are considering becoming Catholic sisters are invited to attend this weekend and learn more about living out their baptismal call in right relationship with God, each other and the Earth. Learn how the Sisters of Providence live prayerful lives within community and within the ministries they serve throughout the Wabash Valley, the United States and Taiwan. There is no cost for the weekend. Housing and meals will be provided.
